    In the name of God Amen March 17th. 1785 I Ebenezar Blakiston
   of Kent County and State of Maryland being sick and weak in Body
   but of sound and perfect mind and memory thanks be to Almighty ~
   God for the same, and calling to mind the Uncertainty of this Mortal ~
   life do make constitute and ordain this my last Will & Testament—
   in manner and former following Viz. First I recommend my Soul to ~
   Almighty God who gave it hoping an eternal inheritance in the —
   Resorection of Jesus Christ and my Body I desire may be buried in a
   decent and Christian like manner wherever my Executrix hereafter to
   be mentioned may think proper, as to the goods and estate of which –
   it has pleased God to possess me with I desire they may be disposed ~
   of in the following manner Viz. after my Just debts & burial Expences
   are paid and my Wifes thirds are taken out ——
   I give and bequeath to my Eldest Son Richard Blackiston the Sum of three
   pounds Gold and Silver Currency to be paid him when he shall arrive at
   the age of Twenty one years old. ——
   I give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Blackiston the Sum of ~
   one Hundred pounds Gold and Silver Currency to be paid her when ~
   she shall arrive at the age of Sixteen years old ——
   I also give and bequeath to my Son John Blackiston his Heirs & Assigns for ever
   all that Tract or parcel of Land lying and being in Kent County aforesaid
   Containing one hundred Acres adjoining Lands of John Ward Penington –
   Commonly called Jones’s Neglect which I lately purchased of a certain ~
   James Lowman, also one other tract or parcel of Land lying and being
   in the County afd Containing fifty Acres which was formerly the property
   of a Certain John Tucker and Sold by him to a Certain Risdon Bishop of
   Kent County and State of Delaware who sold it to me. and also eight
   of Acres of Land adjoining the East and of the last mentioned Tract of
   Land together with all & Singular the appurtenances & Improvements
   whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining thereto
   to the only proper use and behoof of him my said Son John Blackiston —
   his Heirs and assigns for ever. —
   I likewise give & bequeath to my beloved Wife Sarah Blackiston my Riding
