   my three Sons John Anderson, James Mouat Anderson, and ~
   Alexander Anderson to them and their Heirs & Assigns for ever ~
    Lastly I Constitute ordain and appoint my said three Sons ~
   joint and Sole Executors of this my last Will & Testament Revoking
   and making Null and Void all Wills & Testaments by me —
   heretofore made, And I do hereby declare this to be my last Will
   and Testament and none other In Witness whereof I have here=
  =unto set my Hand and Seal this Twenty second day of January
   Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Eighty three ——

   last Will and Testament in presence of us who Subscribe our names
   as Witnesses hereto in presence of the said Testator and at his Request —
   Wm. Ringgold , Thomas Anderson, Peregrine Ringgold
   May d3. 1785. Then came William Ringgold and Thomas Anderson
   two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will & Testament
   of James Anderson late of Kent County deceased, and Severally made Oaths
   on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that they did see the Testator –
   therein named Sign and Seal this Will, and that they heard him
   publish, pronounce, and declare the same to be his last Will & Testamt;
   that at the time of his so doing, he was to the best of their Apprehensions
   of Sound disposing mind, memory, and Understanding; and that
   they together with Peregrine Ringgold the other Subscribing Witness
   to this Will Subscribed their names in the presence, and at the
   Request of the Testator, and in the presence of each other . ——

   Whereas I James Anderson Since the Signing + Sealing the
   aforegoing Will have bought of Simon Wilmer three quarters of an
   Acre of Land more or less as may appear by a Deed from him to me
