113 In the name of God Amen I William Henry of George Town Kent County in the State of Maryland being of perfect heath of Body and of Sound and disposing mind, Memory, and Undestanding, Considering the Certainty of death, and the uncertainty of the time thereof, and being desireous to Settle my Worldly affairs, and be thereby the better prepared to leave this World when it shall please God to call me hence, do therefore make and publish this my last last Will and – Testament in manner and form following that is to say, after I am ~ decent buried at the discretion of my Executor herein after named ~ and after my funeral Charges and Just debts are paid, First it is my Will and desire, that if my Wife should be with child at the time of – my death that the said child should enjoy all my Estate both Real and personal, and if she shoud have twins, It is my Will and desire that my Estate shoud be equally divided between them, and that if either of them shoud die without lawfull Issue, that the Surviver injoy the whole, And farther, if both shoud die without Issue, or that my Wife ~ shoud not be with child as afd, It is then my Will and desire that my ~ whole Estate shou’d be divided in manner and form following, that is to Say, in four equal parts, one fourth part to my Brother James ~ Henry, one fourth part to my Sister Martha Fitsgerrald of Kent County in the Delaware State, And one fourth part to my Sister Sarah Scaney [?] fo the same place, and the other fourth part to be equally divided ~ between the Heirs of my Brother Hugh Henry late of Queen Anns County and State of Maryland, And in order to inable my Executor to comply with this my last Will and Testament, I do hereby desire that all my personal property may be sold at publick Vendue, and that the plantation upon which John Scaney [Seaney?] now lives (in Kent County delaware State ) – Supposed to contain about one Hundred and fifty Acres shall also be sold Immediately after the death of my Mother giving such Credit as may best answer those concern’d, or him in his Judgment think best, And thereon, It is my Will and desire that my Wife shall have Immediate |
