   In the name of God Amen I Henry Bantham of Kent
   County and State of Maryland planter being sick & weak in
   Body but of sound mind memory and Understanding, do make
   and publish this my last Will and Testament, in manner –
   and form following to Wit, —
   I give and bequeath to my Son Richard one Horse known by
   the name of Mark, and one Cow & four Sheep, and one
   Sow, — I give and bequeath to my Son Benjamin one Mare
   Known by the name of Milky, and one Cow and one Sow
   and four Sheep, — I give and bequeath to my Son William
   one Horse, and one Cow, four Sheep, and one Sow, when he
   arrives to the years of Twenty one, — I give and bequeath to
   my beloved Wife Susanah Bantham all the Remainder of
   my Estate after my Just debts being paid, and at her decease
   it is my Will and pleasure that all remaining in her hands
   shall be equally divided to my five Sons to wit, my Son Lewis
   Bantham, Henry Bantham, Richard Bantham, Benjamin
   Bantham, William Bantham, I do Constitute & appoint my Son
   Henry Bantham & Richard Bantham to be my Executors to this my
   last Will & Testament. I do disanul all former Wills & Tesments made
   by me heretofore & do confirm this to be my last Will & Testament In
   Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this Second
   day of January one thousand Seven hundred & Eighty five. —

   March.15th.1785 Then came John Williams & Robert Moody two of the Subscribing
   Witnesses to the within last Will & Testament of Henry Bantham late of Kent County
   deced, & Severally made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that they did
   see the Testator herein named Sign & Seal this Will, & that they heard him –
   publish pronounce & declare the same to be his last Will & Testament, & that at
   the time of his so doing, he was to be best of their apprehensions of Sound
   disposing mind memory & Understanding, and that they these deponants
   together with Charles Watt the other Subscribing Witness above named –
   Subscribed their names as Witnesses to this Will, in the presence, and at
   the Request of the Testator, and in the presence of each other . ——
