106 an Estate in old England leaft and bequeathed to me by a Certain John Temple Parsons, who died here, I also leave & bequeath to Thomas Lawrance my afd Executor & Administrator all and Singular that Estate in Old England that by Virtue of the afd John Temple Parsons’s Will is properly and Rightfully mine ~ I say I desire to be understood, that I leave, give, and bequeath ~ all & Singular my^wholeEstate to Thomas Lawrance afd my Executor and Administrator, and to his heirs for ever. This I declare to be my last Will and Testament disallowing and Revoking all and every other Will or Wills heretofore made ~ by, or for me, and do approve this and no other In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand & Seal ~ this Thirtieth day of January Seventeen hundred and Eighty five NB that before the Execution of this Will the words ~ (and Administrator) was Interlined between the thirteenth and ~ fourteenth lines from the beginning his mark Thomas Johnston {seal} Signed Sealed pronounced and delivered in the presence of ~ William Hynman, John Haragan, William Thompson. May 14th 1785 Then came William Hynman, John Haragan and William Thompson the three Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will and Testament of Thomas Johnston late of Kent County deced and Severally made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that they did See the Testator herein named Sign and Seal this Will, ~ and that they heard him publish pronounce and declare the Same to be his last Will and Testament, And that at the same time he was to the best of their apprehension of sound disposing mind memory and Understanding; And that they Respectively Subscribed their names as Witnesses to this Will in request of the Testator, and in the presence of each other.
