(E) IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER REMEDIES PROVIDED UNDER
THIS TITLE, MONTGOMERY COUNTY MAY, BY LOCAL LAW, ESTABLISH
AUTHORIZATION FOR A LOCAL AGENCY TO INVOKE ENFORCEMENT
PROCEDURES UPON AN ADMINISTRATIVE DETERMINATION THAT A
PROPOSED EVICTION IS RETALIATORY AS PROHIBITED BY STATE OR
LOCAL LAW. THESE ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURES MAY INCLUDE
INJUNCTIVE OR OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Bribery - Prosecution for Misdemeanor

FOR the purpose of removing the limitation on time in which
certain violations of the State bribery law must be
prosecuted.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

Section 5-106(e)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1974 Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

5-106.

(e) A prosecution for the commission of or the attempt
to commit a misdemeanor constituting: (1) a criminal
offense under the State election laws; or (2) a criminal
offense under the State conflict of interest laws; or (3) [a
violation of the State bribery laws in which an official or
employee of the State, or an agency of the State, or a
political subdivision of the State or of any bicounty or
multicounty agency in the State was the offeror or offeree,
or intended offeror or offeree, of a bribe, or (4)] criminal
