[(5)](4) The initial members shall be appointed
as provided in §16-201 of this [subtitle] TITLE.

SECTION 2. each member of the board serving on July 1,
1979 shall continue as a member of the Board of Trustees for
the remainder of his term and until a successor is appointed
and qualifies; provided however that a member appointed in
accordance with section 16-302(D)(2) shall continue to serve
on the Board of Trustees only so long as he continues to
serve on the County Board of Education which gave rise to
his appointment to the Board of Trustees.

SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

State Lottery Commission to the Director; and imposing
