Society of Maryland, Inc., located at the northeast corner
of Lloyd and Watson Streets and all tangible personal
property thereon.]
SECTION 3 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning
St. Mary's County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Board of License Commissioners)
FOR the purpose of altering providing that the County
Commissioners of St. Mary's County shall set the
salaries of the clerk and the chairman and other
members of the Board of License Commissioners of St.
Mary's County , the clerk to the board and the attorney
for the board; and deleting the reference to the county
inspector and the duties of inspection ; and clarifying
language.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 155(s) and 158(j-1)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
155.
(s) [In FROM AND AFTER JUNE 1, 1979, IN St. Mary's
County, the chairman of [said] THE board shall receive as
compensation the sum of [$2,000] $2,500 per year. Each of
the other members of the board shall receive as compensation
the sum of [$1,800] $2,000. The attorney for the board shall
receive an annual salary of $3,000 THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
SHALL SET THE SALARIES OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF
LICENSE COMMISSIONERS, THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE BOARD, AND
