SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(2) 9C(d) of Article 81 -- Revenue and
Taxes, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED 1. BE IT ENACTED
BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That section(s) of the
Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:
Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes
9.
(a) The following real and tangible personal property
shall be exempt from assessment and from State, county and
city ordinary taxation, except as otherwise stated herein,
each and all of which exemptions shall be strictly
construed.
(H-1) REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY WHICH IS OWNED BY THE
JEWISH HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF MARYLAND, INC., KNOWN AS THE
LLOYD STREET SYNAGOGUE, AND LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF LLOYD AND WATSON STREETS IN BALTIMORE CITY.
