AN ACT concerning

Worcester County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Transfer of Licenses)

FOR the purpose of readjusting the fee for a transfer and
for assignment of an alcoholic beverage license in
Worcester County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 74(j)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1976 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

74.

(j) In Worcester County, the fee for a transfer and
for assignment OF A LICENSE is THE GREATER OF $50 OR 25
PERCENT OF THE ANNUAL FEE OF THE LICENSE BEING TRANSFERRED
in addition to the cost of publication, notice, and any
hearing fees required.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
