Annotated Code of Maryland

(1976 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

Preamble

WHEREAS, Chapter 446 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1975 repealed Section 116 of Article 2B for the
purpose of deleting the requirements concerning location of
windows on the premises of Class D license holders.
Inadvertently the law requiring doors to be unlocked during
hours of operation was also repealed; now, therefore,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

116A.

IN BALTIMORE COUNTY A HOLDER OF A BEER, WINE, AND
LIQUOR LICENSE, CLASS D, FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
ON ANY PREMISES, SHALL PROVIDE AN ENTRANCE TO THE PREMISES
WHICH SHALL BE UNLOCKED AT ALL TIMES DURING WHICH SALES ARE
BEING MADE OR WHILE CONSUMPTION IS OCCURRING.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
