SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Education

13-102.

(c) (1) Each member shall be a resident of this State.

(2)  Two of the members shall be students at
different campuses of the University, each of whom [has the
qualifications required to be student body president at the
campus he attends] SHALL BE FULL-TIME STUDENTS IN GOOD
STANDING AT THE CAMPUS THE STUDENT ATTENDS.

(3)  One of the members shall be the State
Secretary of Agriculture ex officio.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore City - Hearing Examiner for Department
of Education - Personnel

FOR the purpose of including Baltimore City among those
counties wherein the Board of School Commissioners may
appoint a hearing examiner to consider certain
proceedings before the Board.
