FOR the purpose of empowering the District Court to issue
injunctions to enforce county and municipal zoning
codes in actions brought by a county, or municipality,
or its appropriate agents.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

4-401.

Except as provided in § 4-402, and subject to the venue
provisions of Title 6, the District Court has exclusive
original civil jurisdiction in:

(7) A petition of injunction filed by a county
or municipality including Baltimore City for the enforcement
of its health, housing, fire, [and] building, AND ZONING
codes.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Alcoholic Beverages - Unlocked Doors

FOR the purpose of requiring holders of Class D alcoholic
beverage licenses in Baltimore County to provide an
unlocked entrance at all times during which sales are
being made and at certain other times.
