(Senate Bill 222)

AN ACT concerning

Surveyors - Registration Renewal

FOR the purpose of increasing the renewal fee for property

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 56 - Licenses

Section 336(c) and (e)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1972 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

certificate. Failure to receive notice does not prevent the
certificate from becoming invalid after the expiration date.
Renewal may be effected at any time prior to July 1 by the
payment of a fee of $20 for professional land surveyors and
$15 for property line surveyors. Renewal shall be evidenced
by the issuance of an annual registration card, bearing the
date of expiration and the signatures of the chairman and
secretary of the Board. On failure of any registrant to
renew his certificate annually prior to July 1, as required
above, his right to practice shall be invalidated, but the
certificate may be renewed at any time within the next
succeeding 12 months upon the payment of a fee of $25 for
professional land surveyors and [$12] $20 for property line
surveyors. Renewal shall be evidenced by the issuance of an
annual registration card, bearing the date of expiration and
the signatures of the chairman and secretary of the Board.
If any registrant fails to renew his certificate within the
