RESOLUTION
CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 1-78

RESOLUTION of The Commissioners of Rising Sun, adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article X1-E of the
Constitution of Maryland, and Sections 11 through 18 of
Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition
as amended entitled "Corporations — Municipal", to amend
Chapter 31 of The Code of Cecil County Maryland, 1970
edition as amended, said Code being Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, constituting the Charter of
the Town of Rising Sun, by amending Section 31—7 of said
Code to change the procedure for filling a vacancy in the
office of commissioner.

[Section 31-7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil
County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date February 23, 1978]

RESOLUTION of The Commissioners of Rising Sun, adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article X1—E of the
Constitution of Maryland, and Sections 11 through 18 of
Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition
as amended, entitled "Corporations — Municipal", to amend
Chapter 31 of The Code of Cecil County Maryland, 1970
edition as amended, said Code being Article 8 of the Code of
Public Laws of Maryland, constituting the Charter of the
Town of Rising Sun, by amending Section 31—4 of said Code to
change the hours during which the polls will be open during
elections.

[Section 31—4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil
County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
