ANNEXATION RESOLUTION

A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of
Frostburg, to enlarge the corporate boundaries of the City
of Frostburg, and thereby amend the Charter of the City of
Frostburg.

WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of Frostburg,
pursuant to the authority contained in Article XI—E of the
Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Article 23A,
Section 19, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Replacement Volume), deem it in the public interest to
enlarge the corporate boundaries of the City of Frostburg,
and

WHEREAS, the area to be annexed is contiguous and
adjacent to the existing corporate area, and the consent for
said annexation has been obtained from not less than
twenty-five per centum (257?) of the persons who reside in
the area to be annexed and who are registered voters in
Allegany County, and from the owners of not less than
twenty-five per centum (25%) of the assessed valuation of
the real property located in said area to be annexed.

[Section 169 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Allegany County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date July 21, 1978]

FRUITLAND

(Wicomico County)

ANNEXATION RESOLUTION NO. 8

A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Fruit land, Maryland, proposing the annexation to the City of
Fruitland of a certain area which is contiguous to and
binding upon the Westerly line of the corporate limits of
the City of Fruitland, BEGINNING for the same at the center
point of the intersection of South Camden Avenue and South
Division Street, and running thence by and with the center
line of South Camden Avenue in a Southerly direction to a
point opposite of and perpendicular to the Southeasterly
corner of the lands of Thomas R. and Marjorie Leier; and
running thence in a line perpendicular to the center line of
South Camden Avenue to the said Southeasterly corner of said
Leier property; thence by and with the Southerly line of
said Leier property to the Southwesterly corner thereof;
