LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION 27.

RESOLUTION NO. 4-78

A RESOLUTION TO PROPOSE AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE XVI OF
THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF FREDERICK, ENTITLED "POLICE AND
FIRE PROTECTION", BY REPEALING SECTION 195, ENTITLED "TENURE
AND AGE LIMITS OF POLICEMEN", AND PLACING IN LIEU THEREOF A
NEW SECTION 195.

SECTION I. BE IT RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE
MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF FREDERICK, the
Charter of the City of Frederick, as the same was adopted by
the General Assembly of Maryland in Chapter 539 of the laws
of 1951, be amended by repealing Section 195, entitled
"Tenure and Age Limits of Policemen", of Article XVI,
entitled "Police and Fire Protection", in its entirety and
placing in lieu thereof the following:

[Section 195 of the Charter of the City of Frederick,
Frederick County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
