thence by and with the Westerly line of said Leier property
in a Northerly direction to the Southerly line of South
Division Street, also known as County Road No. 337; thence
in a Northerly direction across said South Division Street
to the Southwesterly corner of Lot No. 1 as shown on plat of
"Ravenswood"; thence in a Northerly direction by and with
the Westerly line of said "Ravenswood" development to the
Southerly line of the Salisbury—Allen Road, also known as
County Road No. 344; thence across said Salisbury—Allen Road
on a line perpendicular to the center line of said
Salisbury-Allen Road to a point 200 feet Northerly of the
Northerly line of said Salisbury—Allen Road; thence in a
Northeasterly direction in a line parallel to the center
line of said Salisbury-Allen Road to the present Westerly
line of the City of Fruitland; thence in a general
Southeasterly direction by and with the present Westerly
line of the City of Fruitland to the place of beginning; and
providing for the conditions and circumstances applicable to
the proposed change in the boundaries of the City of
Fruitland.

RESOLUTION NO. 2 - 1978
A PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT
ENTITLED

A RESOLUTION to repeal Section 11B of the Charter of
the City of Fruitland (published as Section FC3—3 of the
Fruitland Charter codified in the Charter and Code of
Wicomico County, Maryland 1978), and to re—enact in place
thereof a new Section 111B, said new section continuing the
authority for fines and jail sentences for violation of
municipal ordinances but adding thereto the provisions for a
new class of penalties for "municipal infractions" which are
civil and not criminal penalties and which were authorized
by Chapter 735 of the laws of Maryland, 1978, which became
effective on July 1, 1978.

[Section FC3-3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Wicomico County, repealed and added.

Effective Date September 27, 1978]
