Annotated Code of Maryland

(1973 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 20 - Tri-County Council of Southern Maryland

2-301.

Without limiting or restricting the general powers
conferred by this article, the Council may do any of the
following:

[(f) Prepare a comprehensive and functional plan for
the guidance of the development of the region;]

(F) REEVALUATE THE GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION AT LEAST EVERY 4 YEARS, FOLLOWING
THE ELECTION OF STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS;

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

(Senate Bill 447)

AN ACT concerning

Executive Orders - Publication

FOR the purpose of removing the restriction as to which
Executive Orders are to be published in the session
laws of the General Assembly and the Code of Public
General Laws; requiring the Director of the Department
of Legislative Reference to provide the publisher of
the Code with a copy of the Executive Orders signed by
the Governor; providing that the Director of
Legislative Reference shall provide a method of removal
of revoked, rescinded, or expired Executive Orders; and
clarifying language.
