(1975 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 75 1/2 - Professional Engineers

15.

(c) Each [registrant] PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER under
this article is entitled upon registration to obtain a seal
of the design authorized by the Board, bearing the
[registrant's] PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER'S name and the legend
"[registered] professional engineer." This seal is for the
personal use of the [registrant] PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER only.
Plans, specifications, [plats] and reports prepared by a
[registrant] PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER shall be [stamped] MARKED
with the seal or its facsimile and signed by the
[registrant] PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER when issued to any
clients or when filed with public authorities during the
life of the [registrant's] PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER'S
certificate. Any plans, specifications, [plats] and records
that are not so sealed and signed may not be accepted by any
public authority.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Tri-County Council of Southern Maryland -
(Powers and Duties)

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Tri-County Council of
Southern Maryland to reevaluate the general development
plan for the Tri-County Council region at least every
certain number of years following a certain election.
