Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 900.

This bill provides that the definition of "industrial
building" or "building," as used with regard to "Industrial
Buildings for Counties and Municipalities," includes certain
commercial office buildings and ancillary facilities used
and operated in Anne Arundel County.

Senate Bill 1026, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 29, 1979, accomplishes the
same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign House Bill
900.
