[such] work OF THAT NATURE[,] or who [shall violate]
VIOLATES any of the provisions of sub-title[, shall be] IS
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction [thereof] shall
be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than [twenty—five
dollars ($25.00) ] $25 nor more than [five hundred Dollars
($500.00) ] $500 or to an imprisonment not exceeding [ninety
(90)] 90 days, or both, in the discretion of the court[, and
any such] ANY conviction ON THOSE GROUNDS shall [ipso facto]
revoke and annul AUTOMATICALLY any license that may have
been issued to [such] THAT person.

[No] A license or LICENSE renewal [of same] granted or
issued under the provisions of this sub—title [shall] MAY
NOT be [assignable or transferable] ASSIGNED OR TRANSFERRED,
and every license and LICENSE renewal [of same] shall
specify the name of the person, firm or corporation to whom
it is issued. [, and in] IN the case of a firm, the members

All fees collected under the provisions of this
sub-title shall be for the use of [said] THE board to defray
its necessary expenses.

[It shall be the duty of the said board before] BEFORE
the first Monday of May of each year, [to] THE BOARD SHALL
make a report in writing to the Governor of the State,
[containing] WHICH SHALL CONTAIN a detailed statement of the
nature of the receipts and manner of expenditure OF ITS
FUNDS. [, and any] ANY balance of money remaining at the end
of the fiscal year, after payment of expenses, shall be paid
over to the County Commissioners [of Calvert County] to be
applied to the General Funds of Calvert County.

170.

The provisions of this sub—title [shall] DO not apply
to journeymen electricians or apprentices while THEY [such
journeymen or apprentices shall be] ARE practicing their
trade of journeyman electrician or apprentice, nor to any
electric light company, electric railway company, steam
railway company, telegraph or telephone company.
