bond for any reason [whatsoever] become inoperative or
ineffective, regardless of the regular date of expiration of
[said] THE certificate, license or renewal.

163.

Any and all persons granted a license or LICENSE
renewal [of same] shall display [the same] IT in a
conspicuous place in the office or place of business of
[such] THAT licensee.

164.

[Nothing in this] THIS sub-title [shall] MAY NOT be
construed to prevent any person from doing or performing any
of the kinds of work enumerated in this sub—title[, provided
that such] IF THAT work is performed under the direction and
supervision of a duly licensed Master Electrician. [, but no
such work, other] OTHER than minor electric repairs for the
maintenance of established plants, WORK OF THIS NATURE
[shall] MAY NOT be performed [excepting] EXCEPT under [such]
THE direction and supervision of a duly licensed Master
Electrician, and the [said] licensed electrician shall be
responsible for any and all work [so] done under his
direction and supervision. All work installed under this
sub—title shall be in accordance with the National
Electrical Code.

165.

[No] AN electric light or power company [shall] MAY NOT
attach its power lines or electric meters to any consumer's
property within the borders of Calvert County unless the
building was wired by a Master Electrician licensed under
this sub—title and until a temporary or permanent meter
cut—in certificate has been issued by the Electrical
Inspection Department and certified by the Chief Electrical
Inspector for Calvert County. [Said] THE Department shall
issue a meter cut—in certificate in duplicate, one COPY of
[said certificates] WHICH shall be sent to the power or
electric company furnishing the electricity for the
consumer's property[,] and the other shall be sent to the
Secretary of the Board of Electrical Examiners and
Supervisors.

166.

Any person, firm or corporation who [shall practice or
engage or continue] PRACTICES, ENGAGES, OR CONTINUES in the
work of a Master Electrician without having complied with
all the provisions of this sub—title[,]; [and] any person
not licensed as A Master Electrician[,] who [shall do] DOES
or [perform] PERFORMS any [such] work OF THAT NATURE except
under the direction of a Master Electrician[, ]; and any
person having been licensed as a Master Electrician [and]
who [shall fail] FAILS to renew his license [as herein
provided,] and WHO DOES [shall do] or [perform] PERFORMS any
