(c) The fee for commercial license to catch fish is:

(5) Hook-and-line. — [$10] $50 for each person
licensed.

4-710.

(c) (2) [In] UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 1979, IN the
Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries, a person may not set or
fish any gill net whose size of stretched mesh, allowing a
1/4 inch variable, is more than 7 inches. AFTER DECEMBER
13, 1979, IN THE CHESAPEAKE BAY AND ITS TRIBUTARIES, A
PERSON MAY NOT SET OR FISH ANY GILL NET WHOSE SIZE OF
STRETCHED MESH IS MORE THAN 6 INCHES.

(c) (2) A person may not set or fish with any gill net
within 1,200 feet of any pier that supports either span of
the William Preston Lane, Jr. Memorial Bridge between [June
1] MAY 1 and [September 30] OCTOBER 31, inclusive.

(3)  A PERSON MAY NOT SET OR FISH WITH ANY GILL
NET IN THE CHESAPEAKE BAY, EXCLUDING ITS TRIBUTARIES, SOUTH
OF A LINE DRAWN FROM HOWELL POINT TO TAYLOR ISLAND POINT IN
THE UPPER BAY TO A LINE DRAWN FROM KENT POINT TO CURTIS
POINT IN THE MOUTH OF WEST RIVER BETWEEN JUNE 1 AND OCTOBER
31, INCLUSIVE.

(d)  Within 1200 feet of any pier that supports either
span of the William Preston Lane, Jr. Memorial Bridge, a
person may not:

(1)  Fish with a hook and line if he holds a
commercial hook and line license; or

(2)  Fish with a treble hook that is not an
intrinsic part of a [recognized] FLOATING fishing lure.

4-734.

(a) A person may not catch, sell, offer to buy or
sell, expose for sale, or possess any of the following fish:

(8) Striped bass, less than 12 inches in length
or measuring more than 32 inches. However, a person may
catch one striped bass over 32 inches per day with hook and
line in the tidal waters of the State at any time of the
year except from March 1 to April 30 inclusive, which may
not be sold or offered for sale. A PERSON MAY NOT TAKE OR
