EACH YEAR, MONEY FOR EACH AWARD PROGRAM UNDER THIS
TITLE SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE STATE BUDGET.

(B)   UNUSED FUNDS TO REVERT.

ANY MONEY APPROPRIATED UNDER THIS SECTION THAT IS NOT
USED BY THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR REVERTS TO THE STATE
TREASURY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language that
combines without substantive change Art. 77A, §§
41, 57(h), 59(f), the first clause of the first
sentence of 60(e), and Art. 77A, §§ 61(f),
61A(g), and 61B(e).

References in present Art. 77A, §§ 41 and 57(h)
to the procedure for payment are deleted as
unnecessary in light of the general power of the
State Scholarship Board under §18—204 of this
title to administer the scholarship programs and
to adopt rules and regulations.

The last clause of the first sentence of present
Art. 77A, §60(e) which relates to the

this title.

FROM ANY STATE SCHOLARSHIP, LOAN, TUITION GRANT, REMISSION

(1)    MAY EXECUTE NOTES, CONTRACTS, OR AGREEMENTS
NECESSARY TO OBTAIN THESE BENEFITS IN THE SAME MANNER AND
WITH THE SAME EFFECT AS THOUGH HE WERE 18 YEARS OLD; AND

DEFENSE IN ANY ACTION BROUGHT AGAINST HIM WITH RESPECT TO
THESE BENEFITS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as Art.

The only changes are in style.
