ATTORNEY TO THE BOARD, AS HEARING EXAMINER; AND

(2) ADOPT RULES GOVERNING PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE
HEARING EXAMINER.

(B)   DUTIES OF HEARING EXAMINEE.

THE HEARING EXAMINER:

(1) MAY HOLD AN INITIAL HEARING ON ANY MATTER
BROUGHT BEFORE THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES; AND

(2) SHALL SUBMIT TO THE BOARD AND TO THE PARTIES
FINDINGS OF FACT AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW, A TRANSCRIPT OF THE
PROCEEDINGS, AND EXHIBITS.

(C)   CONSIDERATION BY BOARD.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES SHALL:

(1)   HEAR ARGUMENTS, IF REQUESTED BY A PARTY; AND

(2)   AFTER CONSIDERING THE ARGUMENTS AND THE
RECORD, DECIDE THE MATTER.

(D)   APPEAL.

THE DECISION OF THE BOARD ' OF TRUSTEES MAY NOT BE
APPEALED.

16-507. CHESAPEAKE COLLEGE — BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

(A)       COMPOSITION.

(1)       THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF CHESAPEAKE COLLEGE
CONSISTS OF EIGHT MEMBERS APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR UNDER
§16-201 OF THIS TITLE, WITH THE ADVICE AND CONSENT OF THE
HOUSE OF DELEGATES.

(2)       THE COUNTY SUPERINTENDENTS OF SCHOOLS IN THE
REGION ARE NOT EX OFFICIO MEMBERS.

(B)       TERM OF OFFICE.

EACH MEMBER SERVES FOR A TERM OF 4 YEARS.

(C)   COMPENSATION.

EACH MEMBER OF THE BOARD:

(1)   SERVES WITHOUT COMPENSATION; AND

(2)   IS ENTITLED TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES IN
ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE TRAVEL REGULATIONS.
