(I)   BE A RESIDENT OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY;

(II)    BE NOMINATED IN THE MANNER DETERMINED BY
THE STUDENT BODY OF ANNE ARUNDEL COMMUNITY COLLEGE; AND

(III)   SERVE FOR A TERM OF 1 YEAR, BEGINNING
JULY 1 AND ENDING ON JUNE 30.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first three
sentences of Art. 77A, §9(d).

The fourth sentence of present Art. 77A, §9(d),
which grants the student member voting power is
deleted as unnecessary. The right to vote is
implicit in the concept of membership.

The fifth sentence of present Art.     77A, §9(d),

which provides for the appointment  of the Board

of Trustees in Baltimore City, now    appears in
§16-502 of this subtitle.

16-502. BALTIMORE CITY — BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

THE BOARD OF COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRUSTEES FOR BALTIMORE
CITY SHALL BE APPOINTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
BALTIMORE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as the
fifth sentence of Art. 77A, §9(d).

No changes are made.

16-503. BALTIMORE COUNTY — BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

THE BOARD OF COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRUSTEES FOR BALTIMORE
COUNTY CONSISTS OF NINE MEMBERS APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR
UNDER §16-201 OF THIS TITLE. OF THE MEMBERS:

(1)   ONE SERVES AT LARGE; AND

(2)   EIGHT SERVE FROM THE EIGHT LEGISLATIVE DISTRICTS
IN BALTIMORE COUNTY, ONE FROM EACH DISTRICT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as Art.
77A, §9B.

The present provisions about the county Board of
Education divesting itself of responsibility for
the community colleges and about the Board
members serving on July 1, 1976 are deleted as
obsolete.

The only other changes are in style.
