A BILL ENTITLED
AN ACT to amend Subtitle 10, "Finance and Taxation",
Section 10-233 of the Prince George's Code, 1975 Edition,
for the purpose of specifying that applications for tax
credit for an unsold or unrented, unoccupied, newly
constructed single-family dwelling must be filed before the
taxes thereon are due with interest and penalty- [Section
10-233, of Subtitle 10, of the Prince George's County Code,
1975 Edition is hereby repealed and reenacted, with
amendments — Editor.]

A BILL ENTITLED
AN ACT to amend Division 3, titled "Purchasing
Procedures", of Subtitle 10, titled "Finance and Taxation",
of the Prince George's County Code, 1975 Edition, as last
amended, by CB-34-1977, to provide that the County
Purchasing Agent may be an individual designated by the
Director of Central Services; to make certain changes with
regard to the power, duties, and responsibilities of the
Purchasing Agent; to raise from two thousand dollars
($2,000.00) to four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) the amount
for which contracts must be competitively bid; to provide
that the Purchasing Agent shall consider life cycle costs in
determining a bidder's responsibility; to provide that no
agency of the County government shall expend or contract to
expend any money in excess of appropriated amounts for the
same general classification in the current budget; to
provide additional circumstances under which the Purchasing
Agent is authorized to negotiate a purchase or contract; and
to make certain technical changes. [Division 3 of Subtitle
10 of the Prince George's County Code, 1975 Edition, as
amended, is repealed and reenacted with amendments -
Editor.]
