A BILL ENTITLED
AN ORDINANCE to amend Section 4-274.1 of the Prince
George's County Code, 1975 Edition, titled "Section 2211.0;
Bonds" of Subdivision 2, "Amendments to the BOCA Code", to
entitle municipalities and/or municipal corporations to be
exempted from posting a cash deposit or bond prior to
grading or other work as specified in the Prince George's
County Building Code.

A BILL ENTITLED
AN ORDINANCE to amend the Building Code for Prince
George's County, Maryland, by amending Division 1 entitled
"Building Code" of Subtitle 4 entitled "Building" of the
Prince George's County Code, 1975 Edition, so as to adopt by
reference and incorporation therein the Building Officials
and Code Administrators International, Inc., "BOCA Basic
Energy Conservation Code, 1977", so as to regulate the
design and construction of various buildings and structures
and their service equipment for the purpose of effective use
of energy; and to amend Subdivision 2 titled "Amendments to
the BOCA Code" so as to delete Section 4-208 of the Prince
George's County Code, dealing with insulation of living
units; to add a new Section 4-252.1 titled "Subsection
1502.21" so as to amend the BOCA Code to require mandatory
efficiency standards for artificial lighting systems; and
further to add a new Subdivision 5 titled "Amendments to the
BOCA Basic Energy Conservation Code" and to add a new
Section 4-276 and a new Section 4—276.1 thereto, so as to
amend the requirement of the BOCA Basic Energy Conservation
Code for caulking and sealants. [Section 4-101 of Subtitle
4, of the Prince George's County Code, 1975 Edition, is
repealed and reenacted, with amendments - Editor.]
