Bill No. 19

AN ACT to emend Sections 1.210 and 1.211 of Title I of the
Howard County Code, Title "Administration", to provide
for the deletion of positions, the revision of
positions, and the addition of new positions in the
County Classified Pay Plan to provide for minimum
qualifications for the added and amended positions in
the job classification in Howard County and further
providing that the effective date of this Act be July
10, 1977.

AN ACT to amend Section 1.212 "Pay Plan for Hourly and
Salaried Employees", Subtitle 2 "Classified Plan" of
Title I "Administration" of the Howard County Code and
further providing that the effective date of this Act
shall be July 10, 1977.

Bill No. 22

AN ACT to add new Subtitle 6 "Smoking in Public Places" to
Title 12 "Health and Social Services" of the Howard
County Code to prohibit the smoking of tobacco products
in public places and at public meetings except in
designated smoking areas; to provide for the
designation of smoking areas; to provide for certain
exceptions to this Act; to provide for the posting of
certain signs; and to provide for enforcement and
penalties for violation of this Act.
