AN ACT to amend Section 21.122 and Section 901 of Title 21,
"Traffic Control", of the Howard County Code to
establish procedures for issuing Howard County
Handicapped Parking Permits to permanently or
temporarily handicapped persons residing in or visiting
Howard County.

Bill No. 12

AN ACT to add a new Section 20.107 to Title 20, "Taxation
and Public Credit," Subtitle 1, "Assessment, Levy, and
Tax Bills," of the Howard County Code (1972 Edition, as
amended) to provide for a tax credit against the amount
of Howard County taxes with respect to the real or
tangible personal property owned by community
associations or corporations and used for community,
civic, educational, library or park purposes.

AN ACT to repeal and reenact with amendments Sec. 12.1204(a)
of Subtitle 12 "Public Transportation" of Title 21
"Traffic Control" of the Howard County Code (1972
Edition, as amended) so as to reduce the numbers of
members of the Howard County Public Transportation
Board from nine (9) members to seven (7) members, all
residents of the County who shall be appointed by the
County Executive with the approval of the County
Council.

AN ACT to emend Section 1.300, 1.302 and 1.303 of the Howard
County Code, title "Administration" subtitle "Exempt
Service" — to delete and add certain positions and
their titles in the Exempt Service, to provide for
rates of compensation for said added positions and
titles and to adjust hourly wage rates for certain
seasonal, temporary and/or part—time employees.
