COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Section 13-400 of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967
Edition and Supplements), Title 13, "Planning and
Zoning", Subtitle 4, "General Development Plan", to
make technical corrections in the codification of the
law; to adopt certain revisions to the master plan for
water supply and sewerage systems; and matters
generally related to the amendment and revision of the
general development plan for Anne Arundel County.

Bill No. 115-77

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Section 15-802 (a) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967
Edition and Supplements), Title 15, "Public Works",
Subtitle 8, "Trash and Garbage Collection", to remove
the words "the growth of weeds" from Section 15-802 (a),
and matters generally related thereto.

Bill No. 116-77

AN ORDINANCE to add new Sections 15-900, 15-901 and 15-902
to the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 15, "Public Works", to be under the
new Subtitle 9, "Grass and Weed Control", to follow
immediately after Section 15-802, to regulate the
growth of grass and weeds and to eliminate the growth
of noxious weeds in Anne Arundel County; to provide for
notice to the owner or person in charge of land where
such weeds have been allowed to grow; to provide for
compliance with an order of the Department of Public
Works to control such growth; to provide that after
non-compliance within a certain period the County may
cut or destroy weeds and the expense thus incurred
shall be charged to the owner of said land, which
expense shall constitute a lien upon the realty;
providing certain exceptions to the applications of
these provisions; and matters generally related
thereto.
