AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Sections 12-701, 12-702 (a), 12-703 and
12-706 (a) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition
and Supplements), Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and
Franchises", Subtitle 7, "Dogs", and to repeal Section
12-705 SECTIONS 12-705 AND 12-711 of the same Code,
Title and Subtitle, and enact new Section 12-705
SECTIONS 12-705 AND 12-711, RESPECTIVELY, in lieu
thereof to stand in the place of the Section SECTIONS
repealed, and to repeal Section 12-711 of the same
Code, Title and Subtitle, to establish and change
certain dog and kennel license fees conditions AND
PENALTIES, to establish certain conditions on the
operation of kennels, to delete certain language
relating to transitional license periods and dog owner
responsibilities, eliminating certain penalties,
PERMITTING THE REVOCATION OF CERTAIN LICENSES,
REQUIRING CERTAIN RABIES VACCINATION CERTIFICATES FOR
CERTAIN COGS, AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF INSPECTIONS
AND PERMITS TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE RELIEF TO CORRECT
CERTAIN VIOLATIONS, PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN PENALTIES
ARE ASSESSED FOR LATE APPLICATIONS, PROVIDING THAT
CERTAIN DOG LICENSE FEES ARE REDUCED, providing that
this legislative action is an emergency measure, and
generally relating to the licensing of dogs in Anne
Arundel County.

Bill No. 49-77
AN ORDINANCE to repeal Section 1-200 (c) of the Anne Arundel
County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1,
"Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article I,
"Exempt Service", and to enact new Section 1-200(c) in
lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section
repealed, to increase the base salaries in the
Executive Pay Plan.
