(B)   MANAGEMENT OF INSTITUTIONS.

AS TO EACH INSTITUTION UNDER ITS JURISDICTION, THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES SHALL:

(1)       HAVE THE CARE, CONTROL, AND MANAGEMENT OF
THE INSTITUTION AND ALL OF ITS PROPERTY AND ASSETS; AND

(2)         KEEP AN ACCURATE RECORD OF ALL MONEY IT
RECEIVES OR SPENDS AND ALL ACTS II DOES IN CARRYING OUT ITS
RESPONSIBILITIES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
the first two sentences of Art. 77A, §12(a).

The third sentence of present Art. 77A, §12(a),
which requires a report to the Governor, now
appears as subsection (g) of this section.

(C)   APPOINTMENT AND DISMISSAL OF FACULTY MEMBERS.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES:

(1)     SHALL AUTHORIZE EACH DEPARTMENT OF
INSTRUCTION AND EACH POSITION AT EACH INSTITUTION;

(2)    SHALL FIX THE SALARY AND TENURE OF EACH
FACULTY MEMBER;

(3)   SHALL MAKE ALL APPOINTMENTS TO POSITIONS AT
EACH INSTITUTION FROM NOMINATIONS SUBMITTED BY THE PRESIDENT
OF THE INSTITUTION; AND

(4)    MAY DISMISS ANY FACULTY MEMBER AS PROVIDED
IN §14-110 OF THIS TITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
the first clause of the first sentence of Art.
77A, §12(d).

The term "faculty member" is substituted for the
present terms "teacher" and "assistant".

The only other changes are in style.
