The reference in present Art. 77A, §74(c)(8) to
providing services "on a reimbursable basis" is
deleted as unnecessary in light of the authority
of present §74 (c) (7) to "render or receive
services". Present §74 (c) (7) neither requires
nor prohibits reimbursement.

The present references to "public and private
agencies" are deleted as unnecessary in light of
the definition of "person" in §1—101 of this
article-

The specific provisions of present Art. 77A,
§74(c) (12) on procurement of temporary or
intermittent services are deleted as unnecessary
in light of the general provisions of this
section.

The only other changes are in style.

(F)       TUITION AND OTHER FEES.
THE BOARD OF REGENTS MAY:

(1)       FIX TUITION AND OTHER FEES PAID BY RESIDENT
AND NONRESIDENT STUDENTS; AND

(2)         EXCEPT FOR TUITION, USE THE RECEIPTS OF THE
FEES FOR THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THEY WERE COLLECTED WITHOUT
FISCAL YEAR LIMITATION.

(G)   UNIVERSITY OFFICIALS.
THE BOARD OF REGENTS MAY:

(1)   APPOINT A PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY;

(2)    APPOINT DEANS OF THE UNITS OF THE
UNIVERSITY; AND

(3)   APPROVE THE APPOINTMENT OF OTHER OFFICERS OF
THE UNIVERSITY.

the president selects the deans of the
University, and the Board merely approves the
