VETOES

the enactment and signing of House Bill 628, and at the
request of the Administrator of the Property Tax Assessment
Appeals Boards, I have decided to veto Senate Bill 12.

Sincerely,
Blair Lee III
Acting Governor

Senate Bill No. 52 — Estates and Trusts —
Small Estates

AN ACT concerning

Estates and Trusts — Small Estates

FOR the purpose of increasing the maximum amount of a
decedent's estate to come under a small estate
administration.

May 29, 1978
Honorable Steny H. Hoyer
President of the Senate
State House
Annapolis, Maryland 21404

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 52.

This bill increases the maximum amount of a decedent's
estate in a small estate administration.

House Bill 83, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 29, 1978, accomplishes the
same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate Bill
52.

Sincerely,
Blair Lee III
Acting Governor
