(House Joint Resolution 112)
A House Joint Resolution concerning

Bush River Draw Bridge

FOR the purpose of requesting the United States State
Department of Transportation to reject any proposal to
alter the draw bridge over Bush River, Harford County,
State of Maryland, so as to prohibit the free ingress
and egress through the bridge and to request;

requesting that consideration to free ingress and

egress be given to any future design of the bridge; and
requesting the Department of Transportation to allow
the opening of the bridge more frequently.

WHEREAS, the National Railroad Passengers Corporation
has requested the United States Coast Guard for a permit to
reconstruct the draw bridge over Bush River, Harford County,
Maryland, so as to institute a fixed bridge; and

WHEREAS, such action would eliminate free ingress and
egress through the bridge for commercial, recreational, and
governmental boating; and
