same, under a written lease, who with intent to defraud the
lessor, shall remove any personal property so leased, beyond
the limits of the city or county where it is located when so
leased, without the permission of the lessor first had and
obtained in writing, or any lessee who, with intent as
aforesaid, removes, secretes, hypothecates, destroys or
sells the same shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
on indictment therefor and conviction thereof, shall be
imprisoned not more than six months, or shall be fined not
more than five hundred dollars, or both, in the discretion
of the court. ]

[Larceny]

[340.

Every person convicted of the crime of larceny to the
value of one hundred dollars or upwards, or as accessory
before the fact shall be deemed guilty of a felony, and
shall restore the money, goods or things, taken to the
owner, or shall pay him the full value thereof, and shall be
fined not more than $1,000 or be imprisoned for not more
than 15 years, or be both fined and imprisoned in the
discretion of the court.]

(a)    If any person steals, takes, or carries away
personal goods of another under the value of $100, that
person is guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall restore the
stolen goods and chattels or pay their full value to the
owner, and be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned for not
more than 18 months, or both fined and imprisoned. All
actions or prosecutions under this section shall be
commenced within two years after the commission of the
offense.

(b)    All prosecutions for violations of the provisions
of this section shall be brought in any court of competent
jurisdiction in this State. ]

[343A.

(a) Any person who breaks open, damages, destroys, or
tampers with any coin-operated machine, and steals any money
or goods contained therein, shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be imprisoned
for not more than eighteen months, or fined not more than
one thousand dollars, or both fined and imprisoned.

(h) As used in this section, the term "coin—operated
machine" shall include any automatic vending machine, slot
machine, coin—box telephone, automatic change—making
machine, or other receptacle designed to receive coin or
currency in connection with the sale, use, or enjoyment of
property or service.]
