Trees, Vines, Plants, Bulbs, Growing Nursery Stock]

[344.

The taking and carrying away by any person of corn from
the stalk or the taking and carrying away of melons from the
vine, fruits from the trees or roots and vegetables from the
soil, or the taking and carrying away by any person of
shrubbery, trees, vines, plants, bulbs, and growing nursery
stock, with a malicious intent to convert the same to his
own use shall be deemed a misdemeanor, and any person guilty
of the same shall upon conviction be fined not more than
fifty dollars; or be sentenced to imprisonment in the house
of correction for not more than twelve months, or be both
fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the court.]

[345.

Every person who shall steal, take and carry away any
dog, bitch or cat shall be guilty of the crime of larceny,
shall be charged and, upon conviction thereof, shall be
punished, in the same manner and to the same extent as if
said dog, bitch or cat were the personal goods of the owner
thereof.]

Entrusted to Be Manufactured]

[346.

Any person who shall be entrusted with any goods,
wares, materials or merchandise, or who shall receive or
obtain such goods, materials or other property from the
owner thereof for the purpose of manufacturing, working up
or converting the same into garments, wearing apparel or
other articles of merchandise, or of altering the same or
completing the manufacture thereof after the same may have
been returned to the said owner in an unsatisfactory
condition, and shall after receiving the same fraudulently
sell, pawn, pledge or in any other manner dispose of said
goods or the product thereof or convert the same to his own
use, or fail or refuse to deliver the same to the said owner
after an offer on the part of said owner to pay to said
person the full amount due to said person for his services
in reference to said manufacture or alteration, shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof
before any tribunal of competent jurisdiction shall be fined
not more than fifty dollars, or be sentenced to imprisonment
in the house of correction for not more than six months, or
be both fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the
court.]

Any person or persons who shall purchase, receive or
