In subsection (g) of this section, the present
reference to the "Baltimore City Board of School
Commissioners" is deleted as unnecessary in light
of the definition of "county board" in §1—101 of
this article.

The only other changes are in style.

6-302. ADDITIONAL SALARIES OF SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL AND

VISITING TEACHERS.

(A)   ADDITIONAL SALARIES FOR SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL.

(1) SUBJECT TO THE APPLICABLE PROVISIONS OF THIS
ARTICLE, A FULL-TIME SUPERVISING TEACHER OR SUPERVISOR OF
PUPIL PERSONNEL I WHO HOLDS A CERTIFICATE OR, IN BALTIMORE
CITY, HAS EQUIVALENT STATUS AS DETERMINED BY THE
DEPARTMENT, SHALL RECEIVE AN ANNUAL AMOUNT IN ADDITION TO
THE MINIMUM PAY SCHEDULE FOR TEACHERS UNDER §6-301 (A) OF
THIS SUBTITLE AS FOLLOWS:

(I)   SUPERVISOR WITH 1 YEAR OF GRADUATE WORK ...
...................................................____$2,800;

(II)   SUPERVISOR WITH BACHELOR'S DEGREE ......

........................................... $2,100; AND

(III)   SUPERVISOR WITH NO DEGREE ........ $1,700.

(2)   THESE SUPERVISING TEACHERS OR SUPERVISORS OF
PUPIL PERSONNEL I SHALL BE EMPLOYED ON A 12-MONTH BASIS.

(B)   SALARIES OF SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL ENTERING SYSTEM.

A SUPERVISING TEACHER OR SUPERVISOR OF PUPIL PERSONNEL
I WHO ENTERS ANY COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM SHALL RECEIVE A
MINIMUM SALARY EQUAL TO THAT FOR A SUPERVISING TEACHER OR
SUPERVISOR OF PUPIL PERSONNEL I WHO:

(1)    HAS EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE AND GRADE OF
CERTIFICATE; AND

(2)    IS ALREADY IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM OF
THE COUNTY.

(C)   SALARIES OF VISITING TEACHERS.

A VISITING TEACHER WHO HOLDS AN APPROPRIATE CERTIFICATE
SHALL RECEIVE A MINIMUM SALARY OF $500 MORE THAN THE MINIMUM
REQUIRED TO BE PAID TO A TEACHER WITH EQUIVALENT TRAINING
AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WHO IS ALREADY IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL
SYSTEM OF THE COUNTY.

(D)    SALARIES MORE THAN MINIMUMS; EMPLOYMENT OF
ADDITIONAL SUPERVISING TEACHERS.
