1828 LAWS OF MARYLAND Ch. 573 Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments (A) EVERY PERSON WHO SOLICITS, CAUSES, INDUCES, OR (B) EVERY PERSON WHO PHOTOGRAPHS OR FILMS A CHILD OR IN THE SIMULATION OF SUCH AN ACT IS SUBJECT TO THE PENALTY PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (D) (C). CHILD UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE ENGAGING IN AN OBSCENE ACT OR THE SIMULATION OF SUCH AN ACT IS SUBJECT TO THE PENALTY PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (D). (D) (C) EVERY PERSON WHO VIOLATES THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION IS GUILTY OF FELONY OBSCENITY A FELONY AND UPON CONVICTION SHALL BE FINED NOT MORE THAN $25,000 OR SENTENCED TO NOT LESS THAN FIVE YEARS OR MORE THAN 20 YEARS IN THE PENITENTIARY, OR BOTH 15,000 OR IMPRISONED FOR 10 YEARS, OR BOTH IN THE DISCRETION OF THE COURT. 424.
