REASON OF THE LICENSEE BEING CONVICTED OF VIOLATING ANY
PROVISION OF THIS ARTICLE, NO LICENSE UNDER THIS ARTICLE MAY
BE ISSUED TO THE SAME PERSON WITHIN A PERIOD OF 1 YEAR
THEREAFTER. NO OTHER PERSONS SHALL BE ENTITLED TO OBTAIN
SUCH A LICENSE FOR THE SAME PREMISES UNTIL AFTER EXPIRATION
OF 6 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF SUCH REVOCATION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning
Wicomico County — Alcoholic Beverages — Substitution of
Names of Corporate Officers
FOR the purpose of altering the fee charged to a club or
corporate licensee for substituting the name of an
officer in Wicomico County; and correcting a reference.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages
Section 68(h)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
68.
(h) In Worcester County, Wicomico County and
Dorchester County, notwithstanding any other provision of
Article 2B, any corporation or club holding any class of
alcoholic beverage license may, during any license year,
substitute the name of one of its officers for the name of
any other officer on the license when the deleted officer
has died, retired, been removed from office, or no longer
holds an office in the corporation or club if the substitute
is a fit person approved by the board. The corporation or
club shall file an affidavit with the board of license
commissioners showing the substitution of the officer or
officers with an explanation of the substitution. Upon
receipt of the affidavit the board shall amend its records
