SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

69.

(G) IN WICOMICO COUNTY, THE BOARD MAY REVOKE OR
SUSPEND A LICENSE, WHETHER NEW OR BY TRANSFER, WHEN THE
LICENSE HAS NOT BEEN PLACED IN OPERATION AFTER A PERIOD OF 6
MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF THE NEW
LICENSE OR THE TRANSFER OF THE LICENSE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Wicomico County - Alcoholic Beverages

FOR the purpose of disqualifying persons convicted of
certain crimes from holding alcoholic beverage licenses
in Wicomico County for a certain time; disqualifying
certain premises in Wicomico County from being licensed
for a certain period from the date of revocation of a
license.
