and issue a new license with the corrected names on it. The
corporation or club shall pay a fee of $5 to the board of
license commissioners for this service. IN WICOMICO COUNTY
THE FEE IS $10. In Worcester County, the fee is $15 except
for Class C (clubs) establishments where the fee is $5. In
Wicomico County, an application for renewal of a restaurant
license is subject to requirements specified in § [19 (1—1)]
19(X), as amended from time to time.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Wicomico County - Alcoholic Beverages - Fine in Lieu
of Suspension or Rovocation or Suspension

FOR the purpose of providing that in Wicomico County the
Board of License Commissioners of Wicomico County may
impose a fine in lieu of the suspension or revocation
of or suspend a license for the violation of certain

laws.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

203.

(H) IN WICOMICO COUNTY THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS MAY IMPOSE A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $1,000 IN
LIEU OF SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF OR SUSPEND A LICENSE FOR

ANY VIOLATION THAT IS CAUSE FOR SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION

UNDER THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LAWS AFFECTING WICOMICO COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
