hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT concerning
Plumbers' Licenses — Reciprocity of Entitlement
PG/MC 73-78
FOR the purpose of providing that a person holding a valid
master plumber's license or a journeyman plumber's
license issued by the Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission is entitled to be issued an equivalent
plumber's certificate by the State Board of
Commissioners of Practical Plumbing without examination
upon presentation of certain evidence; providing that a
person holding a valid plumber's certificate issued by
the State Board of Commissioners is entitled to be
issued an equivalent plumber's license by the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission under the same
conditions; and providing that a license or certificate
issued to a plumber pursuant to a reciprocity
arrangement by the State Board and the Commission prior
to the effective date of this Act shall remain in full
force and effect.

MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article 43 - Health

The provisions of this subtitle shall not apply to
Montgomery and Prince George's counties except as
hereinafter provided.
