LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 357

Rehabilitation Center in Prince George's County;

Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services —
Division of Correction — Headquarters — Acquisition of a
site for a Community Correctional Center in Prince George's
County, $60,000, Section 5.2 E 1(a)(9) of Chapter 886 and
found on page 3633 of the Laws of 1975, as amended in
Section 3 of Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977 and Section 1
of this act, providing for a Community Adult Rehabilitation
Center in Prince George's County.

The aforementioned items are described by reference,
but every such reference shall be deemed to include the full
description of the item set forth in Chapter 886 of the laws
of 1975, as amended in Section 3 of Chapter 334 of the Acts
of 1977 and Section 1 of this act. There shall be allowed
an additional period of two years beginning on the effective
date of this act, for placing the aforementioned projects
under contract. If said projects, or any of them, shall not
have been placed under contract within a period of two years
beginning on the effective date of this act, then, as to any
such project not so placed under contract, it shall be
deemed to have been abandoned, and the other provisions of
Section 10 of Chapter 886 of the Acts of 1975 shall be fully
effective as to such project.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 1 {8) of Chapter 914 of the Acts of
1976 be and they are hereby waived insofar as they impose a
time for placing under contract the following project in
Section 1(2) of said Chapter 914:

Division of Correction — Headquarters — To supplement
the appropriation "Acquisition of a site for a Community
Correctional Center in Prince George's County..,", $100,000,
Section 1(2)(G)(1) (a) (3) of Chapter 914 and found on page
2555 of the Laws of 1976, as amended in Section 4 of Chapter
334 of the Acts of 1977 and in Section 1 of this act,
providing for acquiring a site for a Community Adult
Rehabilitation Center in Prince George's County.

The aforementioned item is described by reference, but
such reference shall be deemed to include the full
description of the item set forth in Chapter 914 of the Laws
of 1976, as amended in Section 4 of Chapter 334 of the Acts
of 1977 and in Section 1 of this act. There shall be
allowed an additional period of two years beginning on the
effective date of this act, for placing the aforementioned
project under contract. If said project shall not have been
placed under contract within a period of two years beginning
on the effective date of this act, then it shall be deemed
to have been abandoned, and the other provisions of Section
1(8) of Chapter 914 of the Laws of 1976 shall be fully
effective as to such project.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
