Division of Correction — Headquarters — Design and
preparation of detailed plans and specifications for
construction of Baltimore City Community Correctional Center
#2, $125,000, Section 5.2(I)(1)(b) of Chapter 289 and found
on page 1281 of the Laws of 1974, as amended in Section 2 of
Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977 and in Section 1 of this
act, providing for a Community Adult Rehabilitation Center
in Baltimore City;

The aforementioned item is described by reference, but
such reference shall be deemed to include the full
description of the item set forth in Chapter 195 of the Laws
of 197 3, as amended in Section 2 of Chapter 334 of the Acts
of 1977 and in Section 1 of this act. There shall be
allowed an additional period of two years beginning on the
effective date of this act, for placing the aforementioned
project under contract. If said project shall not have been
placed under contract within a period of two years beginning
on the effective date of this act, then it shall be deemed
to have been abandoned, and the other provisions of Section
10 of Chapter 289 of the Acts of 1974 shall be fully
effective as to such project.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 886 of the Acts of 1975,
as amended by Section 6 of Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977,
be and they are hereby waived insofar as they impose a time
for placing under contract the following projects in Section
5 of said Chapter 886:

Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services —
Division of Correction — Headquarters — Construction of
Baltimore City Community Correctional Center No. 2,
$3,820,000, Section 5.2 E 1(a)(2) of Chapter 886 and found
on page 3631 of the Laws of 1975, as amended in Section 3 of
Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977 and in Section 1 of this
act, providing for a Community Adult Rehabilitation Center
in Baltimore City;

Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services —
Division of Correction - Headquarters — To supplement the
appropriation "Construction of a Community Correctional
Center (approximately 108 beds) in Baltimore City...",
$1,910,000, Section 5.2 E 1(a)(5) of Chapter 886 and found
on page 3632 of the Laws of 1975, as amended in Section 3 of
Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977 and in Section 1 of this
Act, providing for a Community Adult Rehabilitation Center
in Baltimore City;

Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services —
Division of Correction - Headquarters — To supplement the
appropriation "Construction of a Community Correctional
Center (approximately 108 beds) in Prince George's
County..." $1,850,000, Section 5.2 E 1(1) (6) of Chapter 886
and found on page 3632 of the Laws of 1975, as amended in
Section 3 of Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977 and in Section
1 of this act, providing for a Community Adult
