By repealing

Chapter 652 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1977

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

335.

(d) Any person may be registered as a property line
surveyor upon completion of the following two requirements:

(1)    A specific record of [eight] TWO 6 years
experience in property line surveying of a character
satisfactory to the Board indicating that the applicant may
be competent to practice property line surveying, if he
presents evidence of such experience satisfactory to the

Board. HOWEVER, EACH COMPLETE YEAR OF STUDY, NOT TO EXCEED

4 YEARS, IN A PUBLIC OR PRIVATE COLLEGE, INCLUDING AN

APPROVED COMMUNITY COLLEGE, MAY BE ACCEPTED IN LIEU OF 1

YEAR OF EXPERIENCE__IF THE APPLICANT'S COURSE OF STUDY

INCLUDED THE PRINCIPLES AND METHODS OF SURVEYING AND THE
APPLICANT SUBMITS EVIDENCE OF ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE: and

(2)    Successful completion of a written or oral
examination in the fundamentals of property line surveying
and the principles and practice of property line surveying.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Chapter 652

of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1977__be

repealed.

SECTION 2 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
