FAITHFULLY TO PERFORM THE DUTIES ENTRUSTED TO HIM, AS
PROVIDED IN ARTICLE I, §6 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF MARYLAND.
THE PART-TIME INSPECTOR SHALL FURNISH A BOND IN THE AMOUNT
OF $2,000 TO THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS AND WICOMICO
COUNTY, JOINTLY, CONDITIONED THAT HE WILL WELL AND
FAITHFULLY EXECUTE HIS OFFICE IN ALL THINGS PERTAINING
THERETO. THE COST OF THE BOND SHALL BE PAID BY WICOMICO
COUNTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning
Wicomico County — Alcoholic Beverages —
Class B Beer, Wine and Liquor Licensees
FOR the purpose of providing that in Wicomico County a
restaurant holding a Class B Beer, Wine and Liquor
License must have a minimum seating capacity;
prohibiting the inclusion of certain food when
calculating the daily average receipt from food; and
providing that the seating requirements shall not apply
to current Class B Beer, Wine and Liquor Licensees.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

(x) (3) This license may be issued in Wicomico
County to a restaurant which is a business establishment for
the accommodation of the public, fully equipped with a
proper and adequate dining room with facilities for
preparing and serving regular meals AND WHICH HAS A REGULAR
SEATING CAPACITY AT TABLES (NOT INCLUDING SEATS AT BARS OR
COUNTERS) FOR 75 OR MORE PERSONS SEATED COMFORTABLY AND
