(s) In Wicomico County the [Board of County
Commissioners] COUNTY COUNCIL shall pay the salaries and
expenses of the board of license commissioners.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

Wicomico County - Alcoholic Beverages —
Part—time License Inspector

FOR the purpose of providing that in Wicomico County the
board of license commissioners shall appoint a
part—time license inspector; providing for his salary;
granting the part-time inspector certain power;
requiring the part—time inspector to post a bond; and
generally relating to the part—time license inspector
in Wicomico County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

(o)          (1-A) THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS OF

WICOMICO COUNTY SHALL ALSO APPOINT A PART-TIME INSPECTOR.
HIS SALARY SHALL BE AS PROVIDED IN THE COUNTY BUDGET FROM
TIME TO TIME. THE DUTIES OF THE PART-TIME INSPECTOR SHALL
BE AS SPECIFIED BY THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS AND BE
FOR THE PROPER ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF THE
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LAWS IN WICOMICO COUNTY.         FOR THE

PURPOSES OF THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LAWS, THE PART-TIME
INSPECTOR SHALL HAVE ALL THE POWERS OF A PEACE OFFICER OR
SHERIFF OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND.        HE SHALL MAKE OATH
